Brazo Arm Pattern

$20.00

The Brazo Arm pattern includes two variations. One is a fingered hand covered in fleece.  The other is a simple furry arm with optional fleece inner paw for animals.  It includes directions for creating armatured fingers or bending paw using a unique material that functions as both the palm plate and armature for posing the fingers/paw.  It also includes directions for making professional arm rods. This pattern requires a lot of tools and materials.  See full description for the list. If you own a 3D printer, there is a link for .stl files for creating a dowel rod drilling jig to help create a slightyly off center hole in a 1/2″ dowel rod. This jig helps prevent your drill bit from blowing out the side while creating a small amount of space on the top of the rod to rest your thumb while puppeteering.  The 1/2″ rod size allows for better manipulation of both rods in one hand. There is also a link to a .stl file for the arm hardware I put in the torso to create removeable arms.  The instructions assume you are making removeable arms, but you can also sew these arms directly to the torso. NOTE:  This is only a pattern for arms.  You will also need a head and torso pattern to make a full puppet.
